Revision facelift and neck lift to rejuvenate the face of an older woman
The face and neck continues to age despite cosmetic surgery. Plastic surgeons might be able to turn back the clock, however, cannot stop the clock of aging. Skin continues to sag and fat changes gradually with time. Each factor contributes to varying degrees to the appearance of the face, eyes, and neck in every patient. As a result, plastic surgery treatment options will vary based on a patient's individual anatomy and personal preferences.
This woman had a facelift years ago. After the facelift, she had facial filler injections with Restylane® to treat lower eyelid dark circles. Her main factors in the aging neck and jawline is the loose skin and sagging muscle (i.e. platysma). Her chin bone structure is appropriate, and she has minimal neck fat. She has been treated by Dr. Chaboki, a facelift specialist, over the years with liquid facelift treatments and was now ready to for revision cosmetic surgery.
She underwent a revision lower facelift, neck liposuction, and facial fat transfer. Fat injection was performed around the lower eyelids, upper cheek, and lip areas. Eyelid surgery was not performed. Not only was she thrilled with her natural and refreshed appearance, her husband and friends have also been very pleased with the plastic surgery.
