Migraine Surgery for Chronic Headaches

As a Washington DC cosmetic surgery practice, we are often asked to relax wrinkles, lift cheeks, and reduce neck fat with facelift surgery. However, plastic surgery involves both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. One aspect of reconstructive plastic surgery that we treat is migraine surgery for chronic headaches. Chronic headaches requires a team of specialists including internists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, plastic surgeons, peripheral nerve surgeons, pain specialists, dentists, and otolaryngologists. Sometimes referred to as a “lunchtime lift”, wrinkle reduction treatments have provided safe cosmetic results with minimal downtime. Other wrinkle relaxers, such as Dysport® and Xeomin®, have … Continue reading »

Each person is unique and plastic surgeons tailor procedures based on multiple factors. Generally, feminine facial features include more open eyes, rounder cheeks, fuller lips, smaller nose, and smaller jawline. Cosmetic treatments focus on different aspects of the face to achieve feminization appropriate for each individual. Looking one’s best is a goal with any plastic surgery. Reducing gender … Continue reading »

One group of patients include those with an overbite, who are predisposed to a double chin or weak chin. As with many aspects of plastic surgery, underlying anatomy is a very important factor.
