Preservation Rhinoplasty to improve both form and function in the nose of a middle-aged male
Dr. Chaboki of Potomac Plastic Surgery specializes in various aspects of nasal surgery, including cosmetic rhinoplasty, septoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery. Preservation rhinoplasty is a relatively advanced technique that allows a plastic surgeon to modify the nose while preserving normal anatomy, as much as possible. One benefit of preservation rhinoplasty is the ability to straighten the nose.

This Washington DC rhinoplasty patient sought consultation with Dr. Chaboki to review potential rhinoplasty options. He had chronic nasal asymmetry and difficulty breathing through the nose. Nonsurgical rhinoplasty with filler injection is generally not a valid option for such patients. Examination revealed major asymmetry of the bridge and tip, including a significant deviated septum. He also had collapsed nostrils (bottom view).
He underwent a closed, preservation rhinoplasty to improve both form and function. His surgery was performed in a manner to preserve the nasal tissue and avoid external scars. After photographs are several weeks after plastic surgery. His nose is straighter and appears natural with Dr. Chaboki's technique. In addition, the nasal passages are much more open, and he is breathing much better.
