Blog post - micro botox facial relaxer skin peel

Skin relaxers such as Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau® are top treatments in our cosmetic surgery office. These relaxers are used to smooth the skin and sculpt the face. Dr. Chaboki utilizes innovative techniques for natural results with relaxers. Read about our advanced relaxer options with Botox or similar treatments.

The next advancement in aesthetic skin care with relaxers is “micro botox facial”. This treatment can help create smoother skin and offers a potential solution for anyone suffering from large pores, oily skin, or acne prone skin.

What is Micro Botox Facial or Micro Infusion?

Micro botox is an advanced technique available in plastic surgery offices. We refer to this treatment as micro infusion, but may also be referred to as “Botox facial”, “intradermal botox”, or “meso botox”. Micro botox utilizes more dilute solution of relaxer that is distributed on broader area and more superficially in the skin, instead of the focused injections that target specific facial muscles in traditional Botox injections. The innovative micro botox technique adds a new dimension to skin rejuvenation in our office.

How does Micro Botox Facial Work?

The tiny and diffuse injections of relaxers in the skin target primarily glands with micro facials. Perspiration and oil is reduced from sweat glands and sebaceous glands, respectively. The glands shrink and atrophy.

Benefits of micro botox may include

  • reduced pore size
  • clearer skin
  • smoother skin
  • less oily skin

Micro botox does not target facial muscles, so facial movement and expression are not altered. There isn’t a frozen face with micro botox facials.

Patients may still need the traditional relaxer treatments that targets muscles for certain facial lines and wrinkles. In addition, microbotox is temporary, similar to other relaxers. Micro botox treatments can be repeated every few months.

Micro Botox Facial Treatment

The micro botox treatment itself is typically unremarkable. The procedure is quick. It is not micro needling, but rather tiny, superficial skin pricks. with minimal downtime. Slight skin redness and swelling may develop, similar to other skin facial treatments and typically resolve quickly. Results will vary, but many experience benefits within a few days and last about three months. Similar to conventional relaxers or fillers, one should avoid strenuous activity and exercise for one day.

Micro botox may be combined with other cosmetic treatments in our office, such as conventional relaxer treatment and facial filler injections.

Contact the office and schedule your micro Botox consultation. We look forward to helping you look your best!

We enjoy performing microinfusions of Botox and fillers for our patients. Our patients report that these quick office treatments help reduce skin redness, pore size, and oil.

Microinfusion is different from and can be combined with regular Botox or filler injections. Unfortunately, we don’t have an office in Colorado!

We’ve noticed that prices for full face “micro botox” treatments are generally less than typically Botox treatments of the forehead. Micro botox, or alternatively referred to as microinfusion, may also use small doses of hyaluronic acid filler too to help rejuvenate the skin. However, prices will vary across the country and with each plastic surgery practice. Please contact the office for further information.
