Closed Rhinoplasty to create nasal symmetry in a younger woman

Open rhinoplasty is the preferred approach of many plastic surgeons who perform rhinoplasty, which includes making an incision between the nostrils and thus leaving an external scar. Many plastic surgeons choose open rhinoplasty since it's easier to learn and perform. However, we prefer to avoid an external scar whenever possible and focus on closed rhinoplasty. Fewer surgeons are trained with this less invasive style of cosmetic rhinoplasty.
