Sports injuries to the face, especially to the nose, are very common. This working DC woman sustained a broken nose, where the nasal bones, cartilage, and septum were severely injured. She underwent an open reduction of the nasal fracture with conservative rhinoplasty and deviated septum surgery. One month post surgery photograph shows improved symmetry. It takes at least one year to recover from post rhinoplasty swelling.
