Facelift Before & After Case 363
Provider: Houtan Chaboki, M.D.
Procedures Performed Facelift, Chemical Peel, Facelift
Patient Age 58
Patient Gender Female
Prior Surgery false
This patient, a recently retired nurse, chose to pursue a facelift in Washington DC & Arlington to address fullness under her neck and a double chin that had gradually developed over time. After dedicating her career to caring for others, she reached a point where she was ready to focus on her own well-being. She sought a refreshed look to reflect how she feels inside—healthy, vibrant, and ready for the next chapter.
Her treatment involved an extended deep plane facelift paired with a geometric lift and targeted neck fat reduction (superficial and deep) through a small incision under her chin. A medium-depth chemical peel was also performed. Notably, this patient did not receive a chin implant, fat transfer, eyelid surgery, or brow lift—procedures sometimes performed with facelifts. Only a few weeks have passed since her procedure, so mild swelling, visible incisions, and some redness remain present in these early results. These will continue to improve as part of the normal healing process.
Many individuals interested in facelift in Washington DC & Arlington worry about looking ‘overdone’ or drastically altered. This case demonstrates a conservative approach aimed at enhancing natural features, not drastically changing them. The patient’s appearance reflects a healthier, more rested version of herself, in line with our philosophy: Look Better, Not Different.
Houtan Chaboki, M.D., is board-certified in both Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He emphasizes individualized options, patient education, and natural-looking outcomes. Dr. Chaboki’s approach focuses on conservative treatments and honest communication to help each patient look refreshed while retaining their unique appearance.
