Asian Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 254
Provider: Houtan Chaboki, M.D.
Procedures Performed Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery), Asian Eyelid Surgery
Patient Gender Female
Prior Surgery false
Upper eyelid surgery in an Asian patient is a specific type of blepharoplasty. Asian patients who request eyelid surgery generally want to create or to enhance a crease. Prior to plastic surgery, these patients might use tape or glue to temporarily create an eyelid crease.
This patient consulted with Dr. Chaboki for his expertise in facial plastic surgery. She did not have a crease and preferred a small crease. She underwent upper eyelid surgery via local anesthesia to create a crease.
Dr. Chaboki typically uses the incision technique and a small amount of skin is removed.
