Facial fillers are not just for lip enhancement. Maryland and northern Virginia rhinoplasty patients can choose from a variety of cosmetic injectable fillers to improve their nose without traditional rhinoplasty surgery. For example, fillers may be injected into the bridge of the nose to help smooth depressions and irregularities. Facial fillers which have been used for nonsurgical rhinoplasty include Radiesse and hyaluronic acids, such as Restylane or Juvederm. This patient wanted to improve his profile without rhinoplasty surgery. After reviewing his options, he chose Restylane office injection to temporarily reduce the hump of the nose. Hyaluronic acid fillers may last up to a year or longer in the nose. Results were immediate with minimal bruising and swelling, as compared to traditional nasal surgery.
